Typically, if a stamping shop doesn't have a firm understanding in how to make a product, they will build a large safety margin into their quote. We also have an excellent network of Copper foundries in China. We tightly control quality of both casting and follow-up machining. When machining copper from bar stocks, we can cold draw or extrude the material to custom diameters or width to save on material. Our bi-lingual engineering team are familiar with US/UK material standards (ASTM, SAE, BS...) and know the Chinese equivalent. We also manage surface finishing process afterwards and are familiar with passivation, woods nickle strike, zinc plating... Some of our factories are competitive at high volume works, and some of them excel at high mix/ low volume works.

Custom Blow Molding Service

There are three main types of blow molding: extrusion blow molding, injection blow molding, and stretch blow molding. The blow molding process begins with melting down the plastic and forming it into a parison or preform. The parison is a tube-like piece of plastic with a hole in one end in which compressed air can pass through. The parison is then clamped into a mold and air is pumped into it. The air pressure then pushes the plastic out to match the mold. Once the plastic has cooled and hardened the mold opens up and the part is ejected.

Blow Molding

Parts made from blow molding are plastic, hollow, and thin-walled, such as bottles and containers that are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. Small products may include bottles for water, liquid soap, shampoo, motor oil, and milk, while larger containers include plastic drums, tubs, and storage tanks. Blow molded parts can be formed from a variety of thermoplastic materials, including the following:
1. Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
2. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
3. Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
4. Polypropylene (PP)
5. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)

Basic Process:
1. A thermoplastic resin is heated to a molten state
2. It is then extruded through a die head to form a hollow tube called a parison.
3. The parison is dropped between two mold halves, which close around it.
4. The parison is inflated.
5. The plastic solidifies as it is cooled inside the mold.
6. The mold opens and the finished component is removed.
